Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared updates on water negotiations and local economic engagement in a series of posts on his social media account.
On December 10, 2025, Crane posted about a recent update he received from Tom Buschatzke, Director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources. He wrote: “Earlier today, I received an update from Tom Buschatzke, Director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources. We focused on the status of negotiations between Upper Basin and Lower Basin states regarding the Colorado River, as well as several tribal water settlements.”
Later that day, Crane highlighted his visit with constituents employed at Resolution Copper. In his post dated December 10, 2025, he stated: “Great getting to visit with #AZ02 constituents Brenda Astor and Ana Vargas, who are both employees at Resolution Copper. Appreciate all they do to strengthen the economy in Gila County.”
