Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of statements on December 17, 2025, addressing national security and healthcare policy.
In one post, Crane cited testimony from a Homeland Security Committee hearing: “At a recent @HomelandGOP hearing, officials revealed that 18,000 known or suspected terrorists entered our country during the Biden administration. This should be the biggest story in America.” (December 17, 2025).
Later that evening, he commented on Democratic lawmakers with the statement: “Democrats are allergic to the truth.” (December 17, 2025).
Addressing healthcare legislation votes in Congress on the same day, Crane stated: “Every single democrat just voted against lowering your healthcare costs. All because it keeps them from pumping billions to their donors in the healthcare industrial complex. They don’t want to help you. They want to control you.” (December 17, 2025).
Crane was elected to Congress after defeating Tom O’Halleran and has served as Arizona’s representative for its second district since January 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has been vocal about border security and government spending priorities throughout his tenure.
