Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on October 7, 2025, criticizing Democratic policies and expressing support for law enforcement leadership.

In a tweet posted at 14:05 UTC, Crane wrote, “Shocker. The democrats lied again.”

Later that day, at 15:00 UTC, Crane questioned the effectiveness of a major piece of legislation, stating, “Remember the inflation reduction act? It didn’t reduce inflation. Democrats lied. All in an effort to funnel money to their buddies in the wind and solar industries.”

Crane also expressed appreciation for law enforcement accountability in a tweet at 18:54 UTC: “Real accountability. Thank you, @FBIDirectorKash.”

Eli Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane is 43 years old and currently resides in Oro Valley.
