Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, has recently posted several comments on social media criticizing Democratic lawmakers and Arizona Senators over their stance on insurance-related legislation.
On November 9, 2025, Rep. Crane wrote, “Democrats view hardworking Americans as nothing but “leverage” for their efforts to pad the pockets of insurance executives.”
Continuing his criticism early the next day, he posted about Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego: “Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego are NOT part of the solution here. Both will vote NO. They continue to side with Chuck Schumer and insurance executives at your expense. Party over country for these two.” This message suggested that both senators would oppose unspecified legislative efforts.
Later that morning, Rep. Crane added a brief call to action: “Let’s get it done.”
Eli Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He replaced Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district after winning election in 2023.
