Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on January 21, 2026, addressing issues related to government transparency and the actions of the Biden administration.

In his first tweet at 17:33 UTC, Crane commented on the state of governance in Washington, D.C., stating: “This town is generally allergic to common sense. Happy to promote it as much as I can.”

Shortly after, at 17:44 UTC, he criticized the current administration’s approach to cybersecurity and information control: “The Biden admin transformed CISA into a tool for censoring, deplatforming, and eliminating dissent. Americans who discussed election integrity, the origins of COVID, and other core issues were targeted. Predictably, Democrats offered no resistance to this abuse of power.”

Later that day at 18:19 UTC, Crane addressed an individual directly regarding legal charges: “Aren’t you being charged for assaulting law enforcement officers?”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has become known for his outspoken views on government accountability and free speech.
