Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted several comments on December 16, 2025, regarding border security and accountability during the Biden administration.
In a tweet published at 19:12 UTC, Crane simply wrote ” https://t.co/AWSXUwoXT0″. Later that evening, at 21:12 UTC, he added, “This is what everyone has assumed all along. Accountability would be great. https://t.co/lnd2gETOM3”.
Crane expanded on his criticism of current border policy in a post at 21:30 UTC: “During the Biden admin, between 1.5–2.5 million illegal aliens evaded law enforcement after crossing the border. An estimated 18,000 of them are known or suspected terrorists. Democrats did not care about the American people’s safety. https://t.co/olHP15sNFE”.
Eli Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd congressional district since defeating Tom O’Halleran in the 2022 election cycle and assuming office in January 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane is among lawmakers who have publicly voiced concerns about immigration enforcement and national security during President Biden’s tenure.
