Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, published a series of posts on his social media account criticizing President Joe Biden and voicing support for Daniel Penny.

On September 8, 2025, Rep. Crane wrote: “Joe Biden and his enablers did a tremendous amount of damage over the previous four years.” In a subsequent post made at 00:58 UTC the same day, he posted simply: “”.

Later that night, Rep. Crane commented on Daniel Penny by stating: “Spot on. Daniel Penny is still a hero.”

Crane, who was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley, succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative of Arizona’s 2nd district in 2023.
