Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of comments on his Twitter account on October 9, 2025, addressing the upcoming Nobel Peace Prize announcement and expressing opinions about political figures and recent events.

In a post on October 9, 2025, Crane questioned the decision-making of the Nobel Peace Prize committee: “Tomorrow, “global elites” will announce the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Do you think they’ll do the right thing and give it to President Trump?”

Later that day, he responded critically to an unspecified stance, stating: “What a disgusting stance to take. No shame.”

In another post on October 9, 2025, Crane commented on an image involving former President Barack Obama: “At least they picked a good picture. Even Obama looks confused. “

Crane has served as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd district since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
