Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of statements on his social media account on January 15, 2026, addressing concerns about political partisanship and media bias.
In his first post at 20:04 UTC, Crane wrote: “Let’s do it.”
Later that evening at 21:13 UTC, he followed up with another message: “It’s now 2026, and we’re as foolish as ever. The swamp is real, and it’s bipartisan.”
At 21:37 UTC on the same day, Crane commented on perceived media bias by referencing a statement from the White House Press Secretary. He stated: “Spot on by @PressSec. The media doesn’t even hide their bias.”
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd district since replacing Tom O’Halleran in Congress in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane has made frequent use of social media to communicate his views to constituents and the public.
