Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, posted a series of messages on his social media account on January 13, 2026, expressing skepticism about political decision-making and calling for more dissenting votes in Congress.

In one post at 2:17 a.m., Crane stated, “Same. We need more folks willing to vote NO.” Later that morning at 2:23 a.m., he questioned the plausibility of certain events without collaboration among involved parties, writing, “How is this even possible without folks being in on it?” At 3:19 a.m., he responded to an unspecified issue with the single word, “VERY”.

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd congressional district since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
