Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets criticizing Congress and outlining legislative priorities in mid-December 2025.

On December 14, Crane shared his discontent with congressional proceedings by posting, “Sounds like Congress.”

Later that day, on December 15, he commented on the political climate following former President Trump’s return to the White House: “President Trump returning to the White House has provided a historic opportunity and Congress is behaving like it’s business as usual. We HAVE to do better. It’s what We the People voted for.”

In another tweet from December 15, Crane listed several actions he believes Congress should take before Christmas: “Some ideas for what Congress should do before Christmas: Pass a stock trading ban Get rid of the filibuster Impeach Judge Boasberg”

Crane has served as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
