Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, announced a new legislative initiative and commented on healthcare policy in a series of posts on October 9, 2025.
In his first post, Crane stated, “Tomorrow, I’m introducing the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025. This legislation will eliminate bureaucratic hurdles and expedite the rebuild of the Grand Canyon. While the Dragon Bravo Fire dealt a setback for #AZ02, we won’t let this tragedy define our future.” (October 9, 2025). The proposed act aims to address recovery efforts following the Dragon Bravo Fire, which impacted Arizona’s 2nd district.
Later that day, Crane criticized Democratic healthcare policy, writing, “Democrats passed Obamacare. Healthcare costs have skyrocketed. The healthcare industrial complex got rich along the way. Democrats don’t respect the American people enough to be honest about it.” (October 9, 2025).
In a third post, Crane simply wrote, “Not good.” (October 9, 2025).
Crane has served as U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023, succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
