Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of statements on social media on September 9, 2025, addressing topics ranging from community support to national politics.

In an early morning post, Crane expressed solidarity with a local firefighter and his family: “Our prayers are with this brave firefighter and his family during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for his service, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment to our community.” (September 9, 2025).

Later that day, he commented on crime in Washington D.C., writing: “Democrats have been exposed for doing nothing about crime in DC. President Trump fixed it in record time.” (September 9, 2025).

Crane also criticized California’s political leadership in another post: “Predictably embarrassing leadership from radical democrats in California. Their policies just don’t work.” (September 9, 2025).

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in Congress after the 2022 election cycle. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has maintained an active presence both locally and nationally through his public statements.
