Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, addressed several political issues in a series of posts on November 5, 2025.

In one post from that day, Crane commented on the ongoing government shutdown and criticized two fellow Arizona lawmakers: “Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego represent 40% of the needed votes to reopen the government. But they are loyal to a New York liberal, not everyday Arizonans. This is their shutdown.” (November 5, 2025).

Later that morning, Crane discussed negotiations with Indigenous leaders regarding energy rights and conservation efforts around Chaco Canyon: “I’m glad these discussions are taking place. I will continue working with the Navajo Nation in pursuing an outcome that both protects Chaco Canyon and respects their energy rights.” (November 5, 2025).

In another statement posted that afternoon, Crane expressed support for impeachment proceedings against a federal judge: “Agree. We have a chance to fix that with @RepBrandonGill’s Articles of Impeachment against radical activist Judge James Boasberg. Urge your representative to sign.” (November 5, 2025).

Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district.
