Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, published several statements on his social media account on February 6, 2026, addressing border security and the exploitation of children.

In a post at 14:08 UTC, Crane wrote: “No excuses.”

A few minutes later, at 14:12 UTC, he posted: “I do! “

Later that day, at 16:35 UTC, Crane addressed the issue of child exploitation in connection with border security policies. He stated: “Thank you to @POTUS for exposing the exploitation of children during the Democrats’ premeditated border invasion. We appreciate everything that you, @Sec_Noem, and @RealTomHoman are doing to locate and protect them from further harm. Grateful to @HomelandGOP for investigating.”

Crane’s remarks reference ongoing debates over immigration policy and federal investigations into child safety at the border. The comments come amid heightened scrutiny of border enforcement practices and bipartisan discussions regarding migrant children’s welfare.

Eli Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd congressional district in 2023.
