Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently addressed several issues in a series of posts on his social media account.
On September 3, 2025, Crane criticized the Biden administration and Democratic lawmakers regarding border policy. He wrote, “A reminder that the premeditated border crisis launched by democrats under Joe Biden was an effort to gain more ‘constituents.’ They are so close to admitting it. Gerrymandering on steroids. All on your dime.”
Later that day, he highlighted legislative successes for his region, posting “Solid wins for rural Arizona. #AZ02” on September 3, 2025.
On September 4, 2025, Crane discussed infrastructure concerns affecting his constituents. He stated, “This week, I’ve urged the @doioig to launch an investigation into longstanding issues with the San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP). Arizonans deserve consistent access to power and transparent communication during outages. Grateful to @nicolesgrigg at @abc15 for covering.”
Crane has served as a representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since succeeding Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and resides in Oro Valley. Born in Tucson in 1980, he is currently 43 years old.
