Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing immigration enforcement, congressional oversight, and funding for foreign organizations.

On January 17, 2026, Crane publicly thanked federal immigration officials and referenced recent border policy debates. In his post he wrote: “Thank you to the heroes at ICE who are reversing the consequences of the Democrats’ premeditated border invasion. Credit to the Trump administration for having their backs despite shameful gaslighting and attacks from the very people that created the crisis. @GarretLewis” (January 17, 2026).

Later that same day, Crane highlighted his legislative efforts regarding U.S. funding of international organizations: “Last night, I joined @DanNewsManBall on @OANN to discuss my amendment to defund NED. Thank you to patriots like @MikeBenzCyber for exposing its transformation into a censorship and propaganda arm. Although it didn’t pass, it’s always good to get representatives on the record.” (January 17, 2026).

In a subsequent post on January 17, Crane commented more broadly on congressional processes: “The swamp is the swamp. But I’m going to keep working to expose this stuff and force tough votes. It’s the only way We the People get to see receipts.”

Crane has served as Arizona’s representative in Congress since 2023 after replacing Tom O’Halleran in that role. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
