Poynor Healthcare & Innovation Center set for ribbon cutting on December 11

Florence 1 Schools has announced the opening of the Poynor Healthcare & Innovation Center, a new facility aimed at fostering education and collaboration for students and the wider community. The official ribbon cutting ceremony and open house will take place on December 11, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.

The center is described as a space designed to inspire learning and provide future-ready opportunities. The event will recognize those whose vision and partnerships contributed to making the facility possible.

“Florence 1 Schools is proud to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of the Poynor Healthcare & Innovation Center, a dynamic new space designed to inspire learning, collaboration, and future-ready opportunities for our students and community. You are invited to join them on December 11, 2025, from 5:00–6:30 PM as they open the doors to a state-of-the-art facility and recognize the vision and partnerships that helped bring it to life,” according to Florence 1 Schools.

The event highlights ongoing efforts by local educational institutions to expand resources available for student development in healthcare and innovation fields.
