Several freeway closures are planned in the Phoenix area from September 12 to 15 as part of ongoing improvement projects, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

The westbound Interstate 10 will be closed between the I-17 “Split” interchange near Sky Harbor Airport and Seventh Avenue, located at the west end of the Deck Park Tunnel. This closure is scheduled from 9 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m. Sunday.

Additionally, northbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) will be closed between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road in Scottsdale starting at 10 p.m. Friday and continuing until 5 a.m. Monday.

Both ramps from I-17 to westbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) will also be closed beginning at 10 p.m. Friday through 5 p.m. Saturday.

ADOT encourages drivers to consult the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for more details about these and other restrictions during this period. More information is available on ADOT’s website.
