Drivers using Interstate 10 through the Wild Horse Pass Corridor should expect overnight lane restrictions during the week of March 1 to March 7, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

Westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane from State Route 387/Pinal Avenue/State Route 187 to Gas Line Road (mileposts 185-177) each night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Sunday, March 1 and ending Friday, March 6. This restriction is due to earthwork in the area.

On Thursday night, eastbound I-10 near Gas Line Road (mileposts 185-187) will also be limited to one lane from 8 p.m., March 5 until 5 a.m., Friday, March 6 for additional earthwork.

In addition, westbound I-10 at the Gila River bridge (milepost 173) will have only one lane open nightly from Tuesday, March 3 through Friday, March 6 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. The work at this location includes guardrail installation, striping and paving.

“Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. For more information, please call the ADOT Bilingual Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or go to azdot.gov/contact and select Projects from the drop-down menu,” ADOT stated in its announcement.
