McLeod Health has been named among the top 10 best employers headquartered in South Carolina by Forbes magazine. The recognition comes as part of Forbes’ annual ranking of America’s Best Employers by State for 2025.

Donna Isgett, President and CEO of McLeod Health, commented on the award, saying, “We have listened to our people and responded with improvements in the workplace environment. Our staff feel safe enough to share their opinions and suggestions, which results in positive changes.”

Forbes is known for its focus on business, technology, and leadership. This year’s list evaluated companies across a range of industries. In South Carolina, McLeod Health was ranked within the top 35 employers overall—a group that also included organizations such as Sonoco, University of South Carolina, and Clemson University. Among those headquartered in the state, McLeod Health placed in the top 10.

The company attributes this recognition to its ongoing efforts to foster a supportive workplace culture aligned with its mission and values.
