The Leadership Florence class of 2026 held its Healthcare Day session in November, organized by the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together 42 participants who visited several local healthcare providers, including McLeod Health, MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, HopeHealth, and The Manor Senior Living Community.

During the session, each organization offered presentations and operational tours to give participants insight into their work. A special highlight was a visit from the Pee Dee IceCats at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Breakfast for the day was sponsored by McLeod Health, while lunch was provided by MUSC Health Florence. All host organizations gave gifts to members of the cohort as part of their hospitality.

The Greater Florence Chamber expressed appreciation for the support received from all participating healthcare institutions. “The Greater Florence Chamber wants to thank McLeod Health for sponsoring breakfast, MUSC Health Florence for sponsoring lunch, and all hosts for providing special gifts for the cohorts.”

Photos from Healthcare Day are available on the chamber’s website.
