HopeHealth has been recognized as a Gold Level Advocacy Center of Excellence by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). The organization is one of only three Community Health Centers in South Carolina to receive this distinction.

HopeHealth has held the Advocacy Center of Excellence (ACE) designation since 2016 and has maintained Gold Level status since 2018. It was the first Community Health Center in South Carolina to achieve ACE status and became the 22nd center nationwide to reach Gold status.

The ACE program honors Community Health Centers that incorporate advocacy into their core operations. According to NACHC, these centers work to build a culture of advocacy so that policymakers at all levels support continued investment in affordable, equitable, and innovative healthcare services.

“These Community Health Centers create a culture of advocacy to ensure policymakers at all levels of government commit to investing in the affordable, equitable, and innovative care they provide.”
