Greater Florence Habitat for Humanity introduces new partner family at Lester Elementary

On November 12, 2025, the Greater Florence Habitat for Humanity (GFHFH) announced its newest Partner Family during a gathering at Lester Elementary School. The event brought together members of the GFHFH Family Services Committee and Board, as well as teachers and staff from the school.

Morgan Black and her children—Malani Kelly, Kaleyah Kelly, Legacy Black, and Leilana Black—were named as the new Partner Family. The announcement took place with Morgan surrounded by colleagues at Lester Elementary, where she works. Her daughter Malani, who is also a student at the school, was present for the occasion.

The announcement was met with support from school staff, Habitat representatives, and Morgan’s coworkers. According to those present, Morgan has received encouragement throughout her journey to becoming a Habitat partner.

Lincoln’s Brews celebrated joining the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting at its new location. Founded in 2023 by Kaylea and Wade Holt, Lincoln’s Brews has grown from one mobile coffee shop into an established local brand.
