Business owners, restaurants, and retailers involved in the sale of wine, beer, or liquor are invited to participate in the Department of Revenue’s Alcohol Beverage Licensing Workshop. The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. The session will cover South Carolina’s alcohol licensing laws and provide guidance on applying for and renewing licenses. It will also address regulations related to special events and temporary licenses.

According to the announcement, “This free session will provide an overview of S.C.’s alcohol licensing laws, walk participants through the process of applying for and renewing licenses, and cover rules for special events, temporary licenses, and more.” Although all in-person tickets have been claimed, registration for virtual attendance is still available.

Further details about the workshop can be found by visiting the Department of Revenue’s website.
