Francis Marion University recognized in five U.S. News & World Report ranking categories

Francis Marion University has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the leading Regional Universities in the South. The university has maintained this distinction for over twenty years, reflecting ongoing academic quality and value.

In the latest rankings, Francis Marion University appeared in five categories: Top Regional Universities (ranked 54), Top Public Schools (28), Best Value Schools (20), Top Performers on Social Mobility (25), and Best Colleges for Veterans (27).

Additionally, four undergraduate programs—business, engineering, nursing, and psychology—received national recognition for their excellence. This marks the second year in a row that all four programs have been acknowledged.
