Jennifer Gray, founder of The Foster Care Clothing Closet, and Heather Spaulding, director of operations, joined board members and Chamber Ambassadors for a ribbon cutting ceremony. The event marked the 10-year anniversary of the nonprofit and celebrated the opening of its new location.
Community members were invited to visit the new facility, where they could tour the space, enjoy refreshments, and meet with board members to learn more about the organization.
The Foster Care Clothing Closet is a faith-based nonprofit that provides essential resources to children in foster care and their families. Its mission includes fostering community connections and offering programs aimed at helping children build strong foundations for lifelong success.
The organization aims to create an empowered foster community where families feel supported, more people become licensed foster parents, and every child feels valued. According to its vision statement, “FCCC envisions an empowered foster community where families feel encouraged and supported, more individuals become licensed foster parents, and every child feels valued and hopeful—equipped with the resources and skills for a thriving future and grounded in the knowledge of God’s steadfast love for them.”
