Florence to hold annual MLK Jr. March with keynote from chamber representative

The Florence Community Development Agency is organizing the 27th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March and Rally on Monday, January 19. The event will start at 10 a.m., with participants gathering at the Iola Jones Amphitheater, located at 608 E. Maxwell St., where breakfast will be served before the march begins.

The march will move through downtown Florence and end at the FMU Performing Arts Center at 201 S. Dargan St. Afterward, there will be a program featuring a keynote address by Les Echols from the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.

This annual event aims to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and promote community reflection and unity.

The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce supports businesses and residents in Florence, Arizona, by providing resources for economic growth, hosting networking events, and encouraging local tourism to enhance community involvement.
