Florence 1 Schools have continued to demonstrate progress in academic performance, according to the latest School Report Cards released by the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) for the 2024-2025 academic year. The annual report cards assess schools on several categories, including Academic Achievement, Graduation Rate, School Climate, and College and Career Readiness.

The SCDE evaluates schools using a 100-point scale that results in ratings of Excellent, Good, Average, Below Average, or Unsatisfactory. In the most recent evaluation period, all Florence 1 schools received a rating of Average or better. Carver Elementary School retained its Excellent rating from the previous year.

McLaurin Elementary School was not included in the report card results because it does not serve students who participate in state testing.

This marks the second consecutive year that no Florence 1 school received a Below Average or Unsatisfactory rating.
