Potter House Recovery and Stirrup Hope are organizing the Farm of Freedom Festival, an event aimed at celebrating National Recovery Month and promoting equine and farm therapy. The festival will take place at Trinity Oaks Farm on September 27, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rain date set for October 4. Admission is free and open to all ages.
The festival will feature food and drinks provided by local vendors such as Victor’s, Pepsi, Kona Ice, and the Bryan Family. Entertainment includes live music, a DJ, games, and activities suitable for all attendees.
Special guests scheduled to appear include Mayor Barnes, “FLO” from the Florence Flamingos baseball team, and Andy the Armadillo representing Texas Roadhouse. Additional surprises are also planned throughout the event.
The evening will conclude with a bonfire, s’mores, and a raffle giveaway featuring items donated by members of the community.
“Let’s come together to celebrate recovery, community, and second chances. Bring your boots and your loved ones — we can’t wait to see you there!” organizers said in a statement.
