U.S. Representative Eli Crane, who serves Arizona’s 2nd district, posted a series of messages on August 28, 2025, addressing federal debt concerns and local initiatives in his constituency.

In a post published at 12:59 p.m. UTC, Crane commented on the national fiscal situation, stating: “It would be nice if Congress would start acting like we’re $37 trillion in debt. That sad fact should be at the center of every decision we make.”

Later that day, at 1:33 p.m. UTC, he highlighted efforts to support his district’s rural population with a brief statement: “Delivering for rural Arizonans.”

At 1:40 p.m. UTC, Crane reported on his recent activities in Apache County, writing: “Yesterday, I received a tour of the Coronado Generating Station (CGS). The focus of this visit was to learn more about @SRPconnect’s plans to convert the site to run on natural gas. Always great to be in Apache County. #AZ02”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
