Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed several policy issues and legislative actions through a series of posts on his official social media account.

On December 11, 2025, Rep. Crane posted about immigration policies under the previous administration: “Under the previous administration, 15–20 million illegal aliens were let into America. Around 2.7 million came from Muslim countries or regions with minimal to no vetting. It is dangerous to let people into our country who refuse to assimilate or honor our Constitution.”

Later that day, Crane announced bipartisan legislative efforts regarding wildfire management in Arizona: “Today, I co-introduced a bipartisan bill to address the growing issue of drones interfering with aerial fire suppression efforts. Given that Arizona is prone to devastating wildfires, it’s imperative that we minimize obstruction and delays:” (December 11, 2025).

In another post on December 11, Crane highlighted his engagement with constituents and ongoing legislation: “Today, I had the honor of hosting John Dillon in Washington to testify before @NatResources. John is a constituent of #AZ02, small business owner, and lifelong advocate for the Grand Canyon. We appreciate his unique perspective on the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025.”

Rep. Eli Crane has served as a member of Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has focused much of his recent work on public safety and environmental concerns relevant to his district.
