U.S. Representative Eli Crane, who serves Arizona’s 2nd district, has used his social media platform to criticize Democratic lawmakers and highlight his ongoing work for constituents despite recent congressional disputes.

On November 7, 2025, Crane posted: “Despite the Schumer Shutdown, my team and I remain committed to fighting for the amazing people of #AZ02. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been focused on while Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego keep voting NO: https://t.co/iw0RB4OujL”

The following day, November 8, he issued further criticism directed at Democrats in two separate posts. In one tweet he wrote: “Imagine that. Democrats padding the pockets of their insurance buddies, all at the expense of everyday Americans. https://t.co/IOulwY4JYP” Later the same day, he added: “Democrats just want to keep funneling money to their wealthy supporters in the insurance industry. https://t.co/2ewFrvavn0”

Eli Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
