Downtown Florence saw an increase in new businesses during 2025, with five additions reported last year, according to The Post & Courier Pee Dee. These new ventures ranged from a jiu jitsu studio to a thrift store, bringing variety to the area.

“Florence in general is a place that people want to be and it’s a growing community,” Downtown Development Manager Hannah Davis said. “There’s still a lot of opportunity here.”

“There’s just so many diverse opportunities to be entertained and to meet people downtown,” Florence Chamber of Commerce President Mike Miller said. “It is kind of the place to be.”

The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce supports local business growth and community engagement by promoting tourism and offering resources such as networking events and a member directory. The organization also works toward economic growth through education, advocacy, and collaboration for businesses and residents in the Florence area. The Chamber operates as a community business organization with offices located at 100 West 1st South Street in Florence, Arizona.
