Residents of Casa Grande are being reminded to participate in several upcoming community activities and deadlines this November.

Voters are encouraged to cast their ballots on Proposition 496, a Parks & Recreation bond proposal that would provide funding for a new aquatic center, improvements to parks and sports fields, as well as expanded recreation and accessibility projects in Casa Grande. Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 4. The drop-off location is the Pinal County Casa Grande Recorder’s Office at 820 E. Cottonwood Ln.

Registration for the city’s annual Electric Light Parade will close on November 4. The event is described as a popular holiday tradition in Casa Grande.

The Casa Grande Community Recreation Center has introduced an updated group-fitness schedule for November. Among the new offerings is a guided meditation class held on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in Room 103, focusing on mindfulness and relaxation.

Youth basketball registration remains open until November 15 for children ages 7 to 13. All skill levels are invited to join the season, which emphasizes fun, fundamentals, and teamwork.

Pickleball enthusiasts can register for a full-season structured program at Dave White Park for $25. The program includes men’s, women’s, mixed leagues, challenger courts, and open play opportunities and is available to both residents and non-residents.

“Thank you for staying connected—bringing exceptional experiences to the community, one activity at a time!” stated the Casa Grande Community Services Department.
