The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has announced planned freeway closures and restrictions in the Phoenix area for the weekend of September 26-29, 2025. These measures are part of ongoing improvement projects on local freeways.

According to ADOT, northbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) will be closed between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, September 29. In addition, westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) will be closed between Arizona Avenue and Price Road in Chandler during the same time frame.

ADOT advises travelers to check the Weekend Travel Advisory Map for detailed information about these and other planned closures or restrictions. The agency notes that schedules may change if it rains.
